What was I thinking deciding to pack up my backpack and go solo camping on a steep slope? The location started off absolutely beautiful, and it would have been a peaceful trip, until extreme heavy rain hit out of nowhere. Suddenly, I was trapped on a rocky, wet slope covered in dangerously slippery branches and mud. As the storm raged on, staying overnight became completely impossible.
